Anna and George- Married

Anna and George got married on September 10th, 2011. This was my first wedding without Whitney but I wasn’t alone. I was actually a second shooter for my first time ever. Rob Young was the main shooter and asked me if I wanted to tag along. I jumped on the opportunity and said yes.

From the very beginning I knew I was going to love this wedding. It was such a beautiful day in sunny San Diego. A relaxed groom and a gorgeous bride equals awesomeness. Haha. Congratulations to you both. You guys are meant for each other.

On another note, Rob has been giving me a lot of pointers and I can’t thank him enough. This wedding he really showed me off-camera light set up at a reception and I must say, I’M IN LOVE. Haha.

Nate and Becky- Married

August was one of our busy months last year. In that time we had the pleasure of working with Nate and Becky. Already being a married couple for sometime they had never had an actual wedding ceremony. Our invite to work with them on their day had such an impact on us and our hearts. Arriving at the venue the weather was perfect, bright blue skies with a slight breeze. Couldn’t have asked for a better day for an outdoor wedding on San Diego’s harbor. Never have I met another couple like this. They have such a strong passion for each other and their beliefs, that with just a look towards one another you could be lucky enough to see their story through each others eyes. They are a great, fun, in love couple (we like those). We were so happy to have meet them and get to share with them their amazing family and friends. Being a part of their lives that day will forever hold a spot in our insides. Thank you so much Nate and Becky, for everything you are.

John and Jen- Married

Whitney has known Jen for quite some time. In her high school years she sat in the orthodontic chair while Jen worked out the kinks. When she asked us to photograph her wedding we couldn’t have been more happy. John and Jen got married on August 19th, 2011, at the San Diego Rowing Club. It was a beautiful day on the water. The venue gave off a perfect, intimate feel as the sun went down. Twilight introduces spectacular San Diego sunset and shimmering reflections of the surrounding night lights on the bay.  Sea Worlds fireworks display lit up the summer sky and caused a romantic night cap to the evening. Congratulations to the gorgeous Mr. & Mrs. Duke!

Mike and Amanda- Engaged

We took these back in October, 10-15-11 to be exact. We wanted to save this post for the new site and Im glad we did. These two love birds are so much in love and we are very excited for them to wed in HAWAII this year. They already have a photographer booked per the venue so we were only able to do their engagement session. We didn’t mind one bit. Whitney and I have known Amanda for years so being able to see her all grown up and getting married makes us SO happy. For the session we wanted to do an open field shoot. We started off in our back alley which we love and then ventured over the a local hiking trail. Thank you two for such a fun filled day, we wish we were there with you when you tie the knot.

DW - Thank you very much Tim.

Tim King - Awesome stuff! Great job using complimentary colors & nice work with the direction, composition. Looking forward to seeing more stuff!

Formerly known as Ziegler Photography

Welcome to our new site with our new name. We are very excited to show everyone what we have been working on for the past 4 months. We will be posting recent photo shoots of all kinds here. Most of the recent post at first will be all from the end of last year. We were holding off posting any on Ziegler Photography because we felt the style went better with the new name. Ever since we started shooting we have been always looking for a style that we think fit us best. We feel that we are much closer then we have been before and with that we decided to give Ziegler Photography a whole new brand. Be sure to book mark us and check on us regularly. Also don’t be shy to comment, we love to hear feedback.
